We are delighted to announce that we have changed the name of our institution to School of Economics and Law (SOEL)! This is to reflect our increasing focus on law and equipping the next generation of lawyers, whilst supporting existing solicitors and barristers around the world to stay up to date with current legal practice.
We are currently rebranding our website which will be launched in June. Our information, including our telephone number is being updated, please bear with us during this time. SOEL is a higher education institute based in London. We have six faculties, from Business to Health Care, Law, English and Accountancy to IT, offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses leading to university degrees at UK universities. LCBMIT declared "victors" after beating the Home Office in the High Court again! The Home Office have been left reeling in crisis after two straight losses on cases where government approved Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) scandal by American giant Educational Testing Service (ETS) was at the heart of the cases. Yesterday (22-03-16), the High Court ruled against the Home Office in London College of Business Management and IT (LCBMIT) v SSHD; LCBMIT have now been successful three times against the Home Office in court. The Home Office loss resulted in the High Court’s Justice Singh quashing the Home Office revocation order against the College and forcing them to pay legal costs to LCBMIT on all three occasions costing hundreds of thousands of pounds of taxpayers’ money.read more
