LCBMIT has received accreditations and entered into partnerships or approved arrangements with many UK and international bodies, in education, private and public sectors, to provide a high quality service and a learning environment to our students and the local community

Stockwell Green Community Services (SGCS)


SGCS is the umbrella body and community wing of LCBMIT. SGCS is a registered charity rendering its services to the community since 1999, with expertise in a range of areas including boosting volunteering and civic participation, enhancing employability and educational attainment levels, etc., and working collaboratively with the European Union, Home Office, local authorities, Metropolitan Police, London Probation, and other statutory and third sector partners. LCBMIT has inherited its social welfare and community ethos from SGCS, which has enabled The College to develop a postgraduate qualification in Global Community Entrepreneurship.

The Association of Business Executives (ABE)

LCBMIT has been accredited by the Association of Business Executives (ABE) to deliver its Ofqual accredited qualifications, Diploma, Higher Diploma, Graduate Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma Levels. These are in disciplines including Business Management, Management of Information Systems and Tourism Hospitality Management. Upon successful completion of your course ABE will award you with your certificate, which is instantly accepted by nearly 76 universities. We were the first college in the UK to be awarded by ABE to run the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management in April 2009, which has proved hugely popular.

The Association of Business Practitioners (ABP)

ABP is the sister organisation of ABE, and enables LCBMIT to offer a range of Level 7 programmes particularly the Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Leadership for theHealth Care Sector which has proved hugely popular. ABP’s qualifications are also recognised by many universities in the UK, so students can expect fast track progression routes to university degrees.


UK Border Agency (UKBA)


LCBMIT is an "A" rated Tier 4 Sponsor on the UK Border Agency’s Sponsor Register - (License number: 3DH97M8N3), which means that we are able to recruit international students, and thatour recruitment, attendance, retention and compliance systems are robust as inspected by the UKBA.


The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

LCBMIT provides tuition on ACCA and CAT professional qualifications and those are accredited by ACCA. ACCA is the world’s largest and fastest growing global professional accountancy body with 5 of 60 296000 students and 115000 members in 170 countries. ACCA aims to provide highly recognised world class qualifications by becoming a leading global professional accountancy body by reputation, influence and size.


City & Guilds


LCBMIT has maintained its partnership with City and Guilds (C&G) as an approved City and Guilds Centre in order to continue offering a range of vocational programmes. City and Guilds is the UK’s leading awarding body, offering more than 500 academic and vocational qualifications across 28 sectors, through a number of approved learning centres such as ours. Most of these courses are offered to members of the community.


Accreditation Services for International Colleges (ASIC)

LCBMIT has been successfully accredited by ASIC completed all stages of accreditation process defined by ASIC. We were commended our quality assurance procedures, and it is on the basis of ASIC accreditation that the UKBA can approve a College as above.


Anglia Ruskin University, UK


LCBMIT is proud to have a Progression Accord Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) which allows our students to join the university’s MBA Top-up, once they successfully complete our Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management. ARU also provide up to £1,000 scholarship to our students. ARU have campuses based in Cambridge and Chelmsford where our students travel to study the final part of their programme.
