Introduction to Departments
The College has experienced tremendous growth, and our organisational structure has evolved to ensure that LCBMIT is fit to meet our objectives. A brief description of the responsibilities of our departments is provided below.
Administration Department
This department houses 3 sub departments: Student Support & Marketing, Admissions & Compliance, and Finance & HR.
Student Support & Marketing
The student support section deals with students’ queries, support letters, and student welfare. It is responsible for ensuring the student voice is heard, and contributes to the student experience through the Alumni Scheme, Student Ambassadors Scheme and more. The Marketing section develops and maintains our online and printed material including the website, prospectus, brochures, and the Inspirations Newsletter.
Admissions & Compliance
This department is responsible for Home/EU & International admissions, the induction/enrolment process, and third party liaison with respect meeting their admissions and compliance standards such as awarding bodies, councils. It ensures that our systems are robust. Our international representative network is managed through this department.
Finance & HR
This department deals with tuition fees, instalment plans, bursaries and scholarships. It ensures that the College remains sustainable. HR deals with staff recruitment and development, and manages our IIP Bronze Accreditation. For teaching staff, recruitment would be conducted jointly with the Academics Department.
Academics Department
The Academics department manages our academic semesters and ensures that all courses are designed and delivered according to our quality assurance policies. This department produces time tables, lecture material, syllabi, assessments, and leads on our graduation ceremonies. All Faculties of the College are managed by the Academics Department. This department manages academics standards.
Corporate Affairs
This department develops and manages the strategy for the College, and also develops and maintains strong relationships with our advisors and partners such as high profile individuals, awarding bodies, Universities, governmental organisations, businesses. For example, our Strategic Plan is written by Corporate Affairs.
