Student Trips and Visits
In partnership with Stockwell Community Green Service, the college organises various educational, community and civic engagement trips and visits to various national and local places.
A most recent for 15 top performing students was to meet the Mayor of Waltham Forest in his Chamber, the Worshipful Masood Ahmed. Students were able to hear about the local area, political system, and the personal experience and determination of the Mayor which enabled him to reach his esteemed position after coming to the UK as a student himself many years ago. This inspired the students greatly, with one wanting to become a Mayor himself.
LCBMIT organises free sporting activities for students, jointly with Student Ambassadors, in football, cricket, swimming, taekwondo, karate and boxing. The College has made arrangements with the local sports centres for LCBMIT students to make use of their facilities.
