Level 6 Graduate Diploma in Business Management
This programme focuses on the strategic aspects of business management including mergers, acquisitions and major sources of financing such as debt and equity. Students will gain a solid understanding on how human resource and marketing strategies are aligned to corporate strategy.
Course Structure:
Three Compulsory Units:
• Corporate Strategy and Planning
• International Business Case Study
• Managing in Organisations
Plus Two Optional Units from:
• Strategic Human Resource Management
• Strategic Marketing Management
• Project Management
• Corporate Finance
Entry Requirements:
Prospective students must have one of the following:
• ABE NQF Diploma or ABE QCF Level 5 Diploma
• A UK Degree or Overseas equivalent, or BTEC HND in business management or related studies
• Other level 5 qualifications from another internationally recognised awarding body or approved Overseas Institutes of Higher Education
• International: IELTS 5.5 band in each component; or other UKBA approved test
Assessment
3 hour Final Examination will be with the awarding body ABE, at one of their examination centres.
Progression
Students have the choice to use this Diploma to do the following:
• Apply for a Job – where a level 5 qualification is sufficient
• Progress to the Final/Third year of university undergraduate degree – ABE has progression agreements with over 60 universities in the UK and across the world in Australia and Malaysia. You will be studying the final year of a degree at the university itself giving you a different kind of experience.
