Talent Recognition Award Ceremony (TRAC) and Open Day with Buckinghamshire University

It is an important part of the college ethos that we recognise students’ achievements, and we celebrated this on 17th February 2011 at the Talent Recognition Award Ceremony (TRAC) 2011 with Buckinghamshire University, College faculty and up to 150 students. A Select number of students were awarded with scholarships for their academic achievement as they attained outstanding grades for their respective courses.

Students were awarded scholarships of 10% - 30% by The Chief Executive, Toaha Qureshi MBE, motivating other students present to strive academically, and work hard. This also demonstrates the significant financial support that students receive from LCBMIT.

Our guest on the day was Helen Moore, International Admissions Officer from Buckinghamshire University (Bucks), who introduced students to the courses available at Bucks, providing key information with     regards to entry requirements, fees, and how to apply. Ms. Moore expanded on student life at university and the new building facilities that they have completed to further help enhance students’ experience.

LCBMIT’s students are now recognised by Bucks University should they wish to progress onto their courses. We hope to    create a long term partnership with the university in the future.
